“Dishonorable Passions”: Wrestling With Romans 1

In this one-week study, we will focus on disarming the clobber text of Romans 1 by understanding the historical and cultural context of the ancient Roman world. We will encounter the beauty and diversity of Scripture as we unpack the complexity of identifying one “Biblical sexual ethic.” Through rich scholarship and a deep study of Scripture, we will encounter a God who delights in the questions, sits with us in the gray, and blesses us in the wrestling.
